Many tend to think all great things are made in China.

Yet, you would expect us to fall victim to the same thing, you would think. You could not be more wrong. We all have something called “price psychology,” where we weigh the perceived value of a product or a service based on the cost. Example: Toyota made a car that had a louder (not safer) lock put on it in 1995. When this occurred, people assumed that 75-cent piece of aluminum was making their car safer because of the sound it makes. That loud “thump” made the car worth more to the consumer.
